Our Senior Robotics Engineer, Luke Cole, is currently in search of talent. In some ways a job shadow. The areas of work include a wide range of technologies and knowledge in Linux, programming, electronics, mechanics, 3D CAD, control systems, sensors, motors/actuators, displays, etc - we do both design work and real-work prototyping, then eventually field testing and production. Full-stack product development if you will. Perhaps your a skilled programmer, software engineer, hardware hacker, maker, and/or proficient Linux user? In some ways, the ideal candidate should be comfortable with using terminals and text editors like Emacs, VI, or VIM and remote access/config/development over SSH. If your a Linux enthusiast who is well-versed in the art of LinuxFu, MakerFu, BotFu, or at least, keen on mastering it we'd like to hear from you.

While a degree is not a requirement for this role, it can definitely be an asset. Moreover, you don't need to have a background in robotics engineering. However, if you have prior hardware experience or show a keen interest in learning about it, you're a step closer to being our perfect match.

The selected candidate will collaborate with Luke, both onsite and remotely, directly or indirectly via our ERP software and in person. Learning is an ongoing process and we believe in the power of shared knowledge and mutual growth.

The hardware systems we work on vary greatly in terms of industry application and physical size - ranging from palm-sized devices to large-scale systems requiring truck transport. For a better understanding of our projects, we encourage you to explore our homepage and browse through some of our public projects.

Additionally, you'll also be developing and using our unique, custom ERP software that is continually evolving.

If you believe you're the right fit for this role, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to us.
